Preamble

The platform is owned by Let’s Donation S.r.l. (hereinafter the “Company”), with registered office in Bologna, Via Indipendenza 22, registered with the Bologna Companies Register under Tax Code and VAT number 03188581205.

The Company operates, through the website www.letsdonation.com and client websites www.companyname.letsdonation.com and www.organizationname.letsdonation.com, a platform (hereinafter the “Platform”) focused on Corporate Social Responsibility, through which companies or Third Sector Entities may obtain a license to access a customized and exclusive platform.

By accessing the Platform, the registration page, and completing the registration form, users accept the general and specific terms of the service.

The service is completely free for users and is offered to all company stakeholders, both internal and external. Access to the service is subject only to user registration and compliance with these terms.

User data will be processed in accordance with the company’s privacy policy published on the Platform and will be stored electronically by the Company. Users may access, modify, or delete their data at any time as provided in the Company’s privacy notice.

Accessing and using the Platform implies full and unconditional acceptance of all provisions of these general terms.

Where permitted by the company, Users may propose new Non-Profit Organizations to publish social projects to be supported, under the following conditions:

  • The proposed Non-Profit Organization must be actively engaged in one of the following social activities: social and socio-healthcare assistance; healthcare; charity; education; training; amateur sports; protection, promotion, and enhancement of artistic and historical assets; environmental protection and animal welfare; promotion of culture and art; protection of civil rights; scientific research of particular social interest.
  • The proposed Non-Profit Organization must have its own website where Users can learn about its purposes and initiatives.
  • The proposed Non-Profit Organization must be registered in the RUNTS (National Single Register of the Third Sector) and must have Articles of Association and bylaws based on social solidarity principles, lawful (not contrary to national or EU laws), democratic, and non-discriminatory.

These general terms may be updated, supplemented, or modified at any time by the Company, with effect for the future, and users will be notified through the Platform.

These terms apply to users other than Organizations.

Definitions

User: any individual who uses the Platform (via URL, link, banner, social network, etc.) and completes the registration form to support published projects.

Non-Profit Organizations: any associative entity registered in RUNTS, established by public or private deed, with non-profit purposes and not exclusively aimed at protecting members’ interests. This includes volunteer organizations, committees, and associations promoting social development, including equal opportunity initiatives. Political parties and trade unions are excluded.

Projects

All project information is provided by the Organization. The Company assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or truthfulness of such information.

Project information is generally published for an indefinite period, unless removed by the Organization. The Company may suspend publication or donations without notice for justified reasons.

Any contractual relationships are exclusively between Users and the Organization. The Company is not a party to such relationships or disputes.

The Company is not responsible for the implementation of projects, nor for the conduct or reputation of Organizations.

A) CROWDFUNDING – DONATION METHODS

WORLDLINE

A.1 Donations can be made via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Satispay, PayPal, and MyBank via Worldline. The Company is not responsible for the functioning of these systems.

A.2 Payments are made to the Organization owning the project. By donating, the User grants the Company an irrevocable mandate to transfer the donation (net of fees) to the beneficiary Organization.

A.3 Organizations may set donation targets, minimum donation amounts, and deadlines.

B) CHARITY SHOP

Users may browse listings including:

  • Charity E-commerce
  • Gift Cards

Charity E-commerce

Listings refer to online shops of Buy-On partners (service provided by Imnoko S.r.l.). Donations are generated when Users make purchases via the Platform.

After purchase, Users generate cashback, which is donated to projects. The Company is not responsible for partner policies, missing cashback, or transaction issues.

Users must contact support@buyon.com within 5 working days if cashback is missing.

The Company transfers received funds but is not responsible for partner failures, reversals, or invalid transactions.

Gift Cards

Users can purchase gift cards and donate a percentage. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.

C) INITIATIVES (EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS)

Users may apply for events or announcements.

  • Events: have a date, time, and participant limits; may require a minimum donation.
  • Announcements: no deadline or participant limits.

Users can register and manage participation via their personal area.

D) SOCIAL CONTESTS

Companies may engage stakeholders through social initiatives governed by specific rules published on the initiative page.

E) PAYROLL GIVING

Employees can donate via salary deductions.

Participants:

  • Company (platform provider)
  • Employee
  • Employer (withholds donation)
  • Beneficiary Organization

Employees choose donation amount and frequency. Donations start from the next available payroll cycle.

Users can manage, revoke, and track donations via their personal area and download tax receipts.

The Company manages the service but is not the beneficiary.

F) AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Users may voluntarily promote campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Must be of legal age
  • Registered on the Platform
  • Accept these Terms

No employment relationship is created.

The Company may monitor activity, revoke participation, and cancel fraudulent actions.

G) CHALLENGES AND REWARDS

Users earn points (“hearts”) through actions (donations, events, sharing, logins).

Rankings determine rewards, which are non-cash unless specified.

The Company may verify actions, adjust rankings, or cancel challenges.

Costs

  1. Crowdfunding: fees deducted from donations (PayPal, Satispay, credit card + 5% service fee).
  2. Charity Shop: 10% fee on generated donations + transaction costs.
  3. Payroll Giving: 5% service fee.

User Responsibilities

Users must act lawfully and responsibly. Prohibited actions include defamation, privacy violations, illegal content, spam, fraud, intellectual property violations, and harmful activities.

Company Liability

The Company protects user data but is not responsible for service interruptions, third-party actions, or damages caused by external providers.

External Links

The Company is not responsible for third-party websites or services.

Intellectual Property

Users grant the Company rights to use submitted content for service provision. The Company retains all rights to its own materials.

Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control.

Termination

Terms apply from first use until account deletion, with obligations continuing for unresolved matters.

Applicable Law

Italian law applies. The Court of Bologna has exclusive jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.

Miscellaneous

Contracts are concluded in Italian and stored electronically. Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid ones preserving intent.

Tax Benefits of Donations

Donations may be tax-deductible. Users receive receipts for tax purposes and may authorize data sharing with tax authorities for pre-filled tax returns.
